Newa Guthi Victoria had the opportunity to attend a special meet and greet with Kumasagar and Khowpa Band, held at the Consulate of Nepal for Victoria Office in Glenroy.

The gathering provided an opportunity for community members and cultural representatives to connect with the visiting artists, share experiences and celebrate the growing appreciation of Nepali and Newa music and cultural expression.

Newa Guthi Victoria was represented by Rojman, who took part in the gathering and helped strengthen connections between the cultural community and the visiting artists.

The meet and greet reflected the importance of creating opportunities for artists, cultural organisations and community members to connect, collaborate and support Nepal’s diverse musical and cultural heritage.

It also provided a valuable platform for cultural exchange, encouraging connections between artists and community organisations while promoting greater appreciation of Nepal’s rich musical traditions.
