Ihee – Bel Bibah 2025 brought the Newa Guthi Victoria community together through culture, service and shared participation.
As part of the Ihee Puja, members of Missa Pucha volunteered their time to support participating families and help ensure the smooth running of the ceremony. Their contribution reflected the strong spirit of community service, cultural responsibility and collective participation that continues to strengthen Newa traditions in Victoria.
The gathering provided an opportunity for community members to come together, support one another and take part in an important Newa cultural tradition. The involvement of volunteers also highlighted the important role of community participation in maintaining cultural practices and passing them on to future generations.
Through their service and support, Missa Pucha members contributed to creating a welcoming and well-organised environment for families participating in the Ihee ceremony.
